We understand that First Place Academy is an integral part of First Baptist Church, which is the sole governing authority of FPA.
We have received and read the “What We Believe” document of the school; we are willing to have our children educated in accordance with them and we will actively participate in the education of our child(ren) and realize that success in this area begins with the homes and continues with the church and school.
We agree to support to the best of our ability the school’s entire program through prayer, time, and financial contributions, understanding that we are partners in the educational process.
We will fully cooperate in the educational activities of First Place Academy by doing our best to make Christian education with a Biblical worldview effective in the lives of our children.
We will require our child(ren) to support the spiritual activities of the school (chapel, Bible classes, Scripture memory, etc.).
We will pay all of our financial obligations to First Place Academy on or before the date due. If we are unable to do so, we will notify the Church/School Office, giving a reasonable explanation for the delay and work with the administration to make good on all debt owed to the school.
I agree without reservation that the school has my support in both the interpretation and enforcement of its policies as it relates to my child. I have carefully reviewed the Honor Code and support such without reservation.
The school reserves the right to place our child(ren) at the appropriate grade level and designate the appropriate teacher(s).
We understand that attending FPA is a privilege, not a right. Accordingly, my child may be disciplined, up to and including suspension or dismissal from First Place Academy for just cause, as determined at the sole discretion of the Administration and Staff of First Place Academy and First Baptist Church. We will cooperate and discipline our child in the home as needed. Furthermore, the school reserves the right to dismiss any student when either the parents/guardians or the student does not cooperate with the policies of the school.
We will be faithful to attend all parent functions at First Place Academy, as best as we can. These include Open House, Parent/Teacher Fellowship meetings, Parent Conference requests, Information Nights, etc.
We pledge our fullest cooperation to keep doctrinal controversy and denominationalism out of First Place Academy at all times (Romans 13:8-12; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 4:1-7).
If we become dissatisfied with First Place Academy in any way we will resolve the matter with the person(s) involved as outlined in the Scriptures, rather than spreading criticism and negativism (Matthew 18:15-17; 5:23-24).
First Place Academy’s biblical role is to work in conjunction with the church and home to mold students to be Christ-like. Understanding our role in the parent-school partnership, we agree to abstain from any form of sexual immorality as described in the Scriptures (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:27). We understand that First Place Academy reserves the right to refuse admission to an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student.
We will seek to support and advance First Place Academy in every area possible – spiritually, academically, physically, and financially.
We understand and agree that this enrollment agreement does not bind either party to a specific period of enrollment; either party may terminate this enrollment agreement without cause upon ten (10) days of written notice understanding that the full semester’s tuition must be paid by us as scholarships will not cover once we withdraw our student.
